CFEF administers Utah’s Carson Smith Opportunity Scholarship for students with disabilities. That means talking to three very different audiences at once: families looking for help, schools and providers joining the program, and donors who can direct their Utah tax dollars to it. We’re the creative team behind all three conversations.

Scholarships only help if the right people hear about them, and understand them.
CFEF needed families of children with disabilities to know they might qualify. It needed private schools and service providers to join the program. And it needed Utah businesses and individuals to see that a donation could come straight off their state taxes.
Three audiences with three very different questions, a small team, and a program that was growing fast. Everything had to feel warm enough for a worried parent and credible enough for a CFO.
One brandscape, three doors. We built a brand system (logo family, colour, type and photography) and a brand guide the whole team can use. Then we gave each audience its own door: Parents, Schools and Providers, and Donors, each with its own pages, pieces and voice.
The right piece for every room. Rack cards for waiting rooms, flyers for private schools, a brochure for meetings, banners for events, and ads that reach the CPAs and tax advisors who can point clients toward the tax credit.
Always on. Regular newsletters, a steady social calendar, LinkedIn articles for the donor community and a directory of approved providers keep CFEF in front of families all year, not just at enrollment time.
A brandscape and brand guide that keep a growing team on the same page.
Pieces written for one reader at a time: a parent, a principal or a donor.
Banners and displays that explain a scholarship from across the room.
A website with a front door for each audience.
Newsletters, social posts, LinkedIn articles and a vendor directory that keep the conversation going.
