Brand & Identity

Custom Illustration Because stock doesn’t cut it.

Stock art is fine until you spot the same smiling family on a competitor’s website, a dentist’s billboard and a cereal box. Custom illustration gives your brand characters, scenes and icons nobody else can download for nine dollars.

What’s included

If you can describe it, we can draw it.

Playful or polished, hand-drawn or vector, built at a size that works on a billboard or a business card.

An illustration can do in one glance what a paragraph of copy struggles to do in five. It can also make people smile, which, last we checked, paragraphs rarely manage.

Characters people remember

Scout-pack bears, pillow-pet penguins, a pair of very cheerful feet, a diner logo dripping with milkshake: characters give people something to recognize and something to like. They show up on packaging, in kids’ books, on shirts and in social posts, and they never ask for a raise.

Drawn for your brand, not borrowed from someone else’s

Every illustration starts with your brandscape: your colors, your personality, your audience. A playful brand gets bouncy lines and bright color. A serious one gets clean, confident shapes. Either way, it looks like it came from you, because it did.

Built to work everywhere

We deliver illustrations as clean vector or high-resolution files, in color and in one color, so the same character works on a tiny hang tag, a website header and a ten-foot trade show wall. No pixelated surprises at the print shop.

Pictures that explain things

Not every illustration is a mascot. Infographics, process diagrams and icon sets turn complicated ideas into something people understand at a glance, which is handy when your product takes three meetings to explain out loud.

Let’s draw something only you could have.

Have a character in mind?

Send a napkin sketch, a description or a “you’ll know it when you see it.” We’ve worked with all three.

Let’s talk

quoted per project

Revisions are included, and most of them happen at the sketch stage, where changes are fast and cheap.

How it works

From napkin sketch to finished art.

01

Describe it

What it’s for, where it lives and the feeling it should leave.

02

Sketch it

Rough sketches to agree on pose, composition and personality before any polish.

03

Finish it

Clean lines, color and detail, matched to your brandscape.

04

Use it everywhere

Files for print, web, packaging and merch, in every version you need.

Questions

Asked at nearly every kickoff.

Can you match an illustration style we already use?

Yes. Send us what you have and we’ll match it, or evolve it if it needs a little help.

Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF) where the style allows, plus high-resolution PNG and JPG. Painterly styles come as large layered files.

We can, and we can take it all the way to print with our Book Self-Publishing service.

We revise until it feels right. The trick is doing most of it at the sketch stage, where changes take minutes instead of hours.

Let’s talk

Every great project starts with a little contact.

Book a free consultation. Bring the big idea, the messy brief or the “would it be crazy if…”. We’ll bring the questions, and probably a few good answers.
